Why do we choose one bank instead of another?

Think about it why do you use the bank you have now?

Did you compare each of them for charges?

Or was it the bank closest to the car park?

Did you really like the flash funny shaped logo?

A comparison is why do we use certain petrol? It all comes from the same refinery and the only difference is the petrol station logo at the garage.

Is this the same as banks?

The money they use is all the same so what is the difference between banks?

Well some have blue in there logo some yellow some green. Ah but some charge different rates for loans and some give bonus points which if you don’t cash in before a certain time they expire or the gifts are re-valued higher so you need more than you thought.

Sometimes if you sit and work it out you need to save these points for fifteen years to get a toast rack. And you really need one of those don’t you?

The bottom line is we don’t look hard to see what banks are really offering and what we can get out of them. Banks start with children’s savings accounts student loans and then you’re stuck for life.

As we move on through life our needs and circumstances change but how often do we check to see who is giving us the best deal at that particular time of life?

How many services do banks offer which can be obtained elsewhere? Why should banks be so keen to offer us insurance? Only because it’s more of our money they can play with.

What happens when banks suggest investment schemes and they go flat?

You’ve lost your money.

How soon before the banks get their money back? Increase charges or ask the government for a hand out so they can sell that money to the public. In a nut shell that’s what banks do, print money and then sell it to the general public. At a profitable rate.
