Babyboomers and Health

Babyboomers only get the one body and only one person can look after their health it and that is themselves.


So how do you look after your health?


If you’re like me I’m not the best and I have to make myself consciously aware that I need to do more. I spend more money and time on my car than my body and I have changed my car a lot of times over the years. But my body has just aged and I have not spent or considered my one and only body with the respect that I really should do. I would bet you know what I mean?


So what are Babyboomers doing about their health?


Exercise?

Diet?


Two subjects we all talk about but what do we do about it? Do you go for a walk every day? Visit the gym? Check your diet? Ok let’s get all the excuses out of the way.


Not enough time.


Not enough money.


But really we all know that we should be doing something and we put it off.


Why?


Is it because we have just got used to sitting in front of the TV eating fast food out of a cardboard box?


Why?


Because we are too busy too tired


“too what ever”


Have you read what is in the fast food we find on the supermarket shelves?


How long it has been dead?


Or was it ever alive?


A lot of the processed food is manufactured in laboratories and put in a box with a picture on the front and a list of ingredients in such a small font that you cannot read it and the bits you can make out are numbers and different versions of salt and sugar which create an addiction so you feel as if you need more.

And that is consumerism which the big supermarkets use to keep in business.


So what are you doing about your health?


The very least you can do is make your own choices and find out what alternatives there are out there and do the best you can for yourself and for the rest of your life.
