Some people just love to exercise and they love to tell you all about the positive benefits and how fit they are. But are they that fit?

The answer is yes.

If we all kept moving just that bit more and even worked a few weights we would build up our muscles and keep our joints flexible, and keep our hearts in good order.

Ok again there are some people who have difficulties but as for the rest of us we need to get our bodies moving.

There simple things we can all do and a walk around the park is a good place to start. We all feel that much better when the bloods flowing and parks are pretty neat places to see how the professionals look after their plants.

Even using a broom handle as an empty barbell works a treat as you are making the movements without straining yourself with heavy weights. You can even use the brush end to sweep out the yard and that will make you feel good when it’s all nice and clean.

But if you really want to get good results contact your local gym and get a personal trainer to help you build yourself up to a level of fitness. If you get a few of your friends together you can build up a club and negotiate a good deal.

It’s always a good thing to have a trainer as they will monitor your progress and you also then become accountable and this helps keep you on track.

We all owe to our grandchildren, they never stop from when they wake up and they just collapse.
