Do we need it?



Have you got enough stress in your life?


Unfortunately the only people without stress have passed on and as one common expression states the only place where you can be without stress is the cemetery.


We need an edge on life to keep us interested but we do not have in place a way of managing stress.


There is a lot opinion in the world on how to handle stress but the bottom line is we need challenges in life, this is how we humans are made.


Sorry about that but once we accept this fact we can move on. How many times have you heard a child say


“I have nothing to do”


and then follow up with


"I’ve done that I want something new."


When you think about it that is what stress usually is something new or a lot of stuff we think we don’t really want.


When we have learnt something new or overcome a challenge how do we feel?


Relieved?

Proud of what we have achieved?


One thing is certain we didn’t feel too good when we first started.


No doubt we felt somewhat overwhelmed and need I say it


"stressed by the prospect of the whole event?"


Stress is not the word to use to get you through these times.


Try telling yourself that you want to learn something and you’ll feel a whole lot better by completing the task in hand.


It is only your ego conscious telling you what’s wrong with things the way they are, learning something new will hurt and you might fail and everyone will laugh at you.


So what?


Just stick in and work through it become familiar with whatever you have to and just tell yourself that you’ll l feel so much better after that it will have been worth doing.
